| The uniqueness of Baydon Solutions’ technology was
further confirmed with the award by the Irish Controller of Patents, Designs and
Trademarks of a patent in respect of Baydon’s Assistware Connector toolset. |
| The Assistware Connector allows non-technical staff to connect precise and
appropriate content from any Content Management System or content base to
elements of ‘any’ or ‘all’ of an organization's business IT applications. The end
result, which demonstrates a dramatic return on investment, means that users get
fast access to exactly the information they need to complete their job tasks
effectively. |
| Commenting on the award, William Cirillo CTO of Baydon Solutions acknowledged that the innovative process adopted by the Assistware Connector, had made a dramatic contribution to the company’s objective of ‘delivering the knowledge and content employees need, just when they need it’. Cirillo explained that the growth in the use of on-line content in recent years often means that employees find it more difficult to locate the precise information they need to do their job. Baydon’s ‘knowledge delivery’ concept has been adopted by many leading US and European based organizations. Discussions are underway for licensing of the company’s ‘Assistware Connector’ and ‘Assistware Bubble’ technology to third party content management systems (CMS) vendors. |
