Baydon presents 'knowledge delivery' paper at e-Learning Conference
Baydon Solutions recently presented at a conference convened by the Atlanta branch of The eLearning Crew (ELC). The ELC brings together the most senior e-Learning strategists from major organizations in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago and New York. The objective of the group is to share practical e-Learning experiences and innovations using real-life case study examples.

The objective of the Baydon paper was to highlight the importance of efficient content delivery to users, in a world where the focus on content creation and content management has led to the accumulation of masses of content for users. Users are now finding it time-consuming, tedious and difficult to locate the precise information they need to do their job. The paper was presented by CEO John Hughes, who highlighted the need for the development of new and innovative content access mechanisms to augment traditional forms such as search engines and hypertext browsing.

Baydon highlighted a series of customer case studies. These studies demonstrated the added value of combining Baydon’s ‘predicament based’ delivery technique with content management initiatives. Many of the case studies that were illustrated showed significant return on investment from the business benefits of getting the right information to employees on a ‘moment of need’ basis.
