The Assistware Distinguishing Engine

The Assistware Distinguishing Engine is the component that is installed on a non-dedicated IIS server machine.

The primary purpose of the Distinguishing Engine is to resolve the end user requests for support. The Engine stores and manages the distinguishing smarts and communicates with the Assistware Bubble to achieve this.

The Distinguishing Engine also provides an end user tracking feature. This information is stored in an ODBC format for analysis, continuous improvement and refinement of the Assistware capability.
